Perspiration leaves stains and rings on clothes over time.
On cotton, but also on fragile fabrics and wool.
How do you remove perspiration stains from such fabrics?
Fortunately, there are 3 effective tips, which I'll give you right away.
1. On a fragile fabric, "tamponage" method
- mix in a container 1 part ammonia, 2 parts hydrogen peroxide and 6 parts water,
- dip a clean cloth into the container,
- dab stains with this soaked cloth,
- wash the garment as usual.
You can replace the ammonia with 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice.
2. On a fragile fabric, "soaking" method:
- prepare a basin of cold water containing just a little ammonia,
- immerse your garment for at least 2 hours in it,
- then wash it as usual.
3. On wool:
- prepare a basin of cold water containing 2 glasses of white vinegar,
- immerse your woolen item in it for at least 2 hours,
- then wash it as usual.
There you go, the sweat stains are gone from your garment :-).
