Every tea lover has a nice teapot.
But it can happen that you forget to wash it after use, or that you leave a little liquid in it.
Result:guaranteed mould.
To avoid the development of mold, it is enough to use a sugar cube.
After each use of your teapot, just put some sugar in the bottom. Remove it before using your teapot again, and rinse it.
Sugar preserves food, just like salt. That's why before we had fridges, we kept our food in salt.
Salt and sugar therefore slow down the formation of mould. But for tea it is better to put sugar, for the taste. Especially since a piece of sugar absorbs the moisture left in the teapot.
