Know it, lemon makes (almost) everything shine. So I never hesitate to use it, and for a lot of things.
It smells good, it is effective and much cheaper than other so-called "specialty" products for certain surfaces.
I grab my lemon net and I start my intensive cleaning, let's go:steel, stainless steel, silverware... everything will pass.
I like lemon for its antiseptic qualities and antibacterial . I use it for my utensils and objects in steel, stainless steel and for silverware without any hesitation .
I plunge all this into a huge basin which I then fill with 1 volume of lemon for 5 volumes of hot water . I let it soak until the water cools. Finally, I rinse quickly.
I wipe with a soft cloth rather than letting it dry, to avoid streaks.
And if I want to complete my cleaning of steel or stainless steel perfectly, I give a little steel wool in addition. It restores the shine of new to your slightly aged utensils.
Very simple, right? Did you? I look forward to your comments.
