Should I dust before or after vacuuming?

But why do you have to dust first?
The answer is simple because it's physics!
When you dust, there is always some that falls to the ground.
It falls on your carpet, rug, tile or parquet floor.
By vacuuming afterwards, you easily pick up all that dust on the floor.
Whereas if you vacuum first, all the dust that has fallen on the floor will never be caught!
Hence the logic of wiping with a damp cloth first to catch as much dust as possible...

- The best thing is to use a natural anti-dust product on your furniture . It prevents dust from settling again. You will agree with me that it is more hygienic and more aesthetic too.
- Always clean from top to bottom . Since the dust particles fall, you will collect more when you vacuum.
- Dust everywhere :furniture, door or window sills, picture or mirror tops, curtain rods, blind slats... This is important, because at the slightest draft, dust will fly, dirty your home and ruin your work. That would be a shame, right?
- Once the dust is done, vacuum every corner of the house . Use a thinner tip to go into corners without forgetting baseboards. You have to start from one end of the room and go towards the other, then turn 90° and start again. Thus, you will vacuum the same place several times, which is not negligible for catching dust.
- Don't forget to move the furniture. If you have pets, invest in a specialized vacuum cleaner. It's not necessarily the power that counts, but above all the brush system. And remember to clean them regularly to make them easier to rotate.
- How often to dust at home ? It is not necessary to dust more than once a week.
