Their combination works wonders on any type of bodywork and especially on chrome.
What you need
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup white vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 brush
How to
- In a bucket of water, mix the baking soda with the white vinegar.
- Soak the brush in the solution then scrub the bodywork and windshields with it.
- Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft or microfiber cloth.
Note that this trick also works perfectly for cleaning the floor of the garage.
Dirt (crushed insects, droplets of mud) are often encrusted on the bodywork and headlights.
And I'm not even talking about the windshield...
Well, be aware that baking soda has abrasive properties that remove all that without scratching!

- Put baking soda on the damp sponge.
- Pass the sponge over all the areas where the dirt is embedded.

White vinegar is perfect for polishing and protecting car bodywork.

- White vinegar
How to
- Dampen the sponge with white vinegar.
- Pass the sponge soaked in vinegar over the entire surface of the bodywork.
Note that this trick also works for boat hulls.
Pure white vinegar is also very useful to shine the rims.
