- You can replace Atlas cedarwood essential oil with clove essential oil.
- If you are in a hurry, pour a few drops of one of these essential oils on a porous stone picked up on the beach or on horse chestnuts:Atlas cedar, clove, lavender, thyme, rosemary, mint or eucalyptus.
Moths are small gray butterflies. Females like to lay eggs in dark, quiet spaces.
They appreciate the smell of sweat, fabric and clothing.
The eggs eventually hatch and it is the moth larvae that cause havoc in our cupboards.
These small larvae are voracious and use the fibers of textiles to feed and make a cocoon.
Hence the small holes everywhere in the clothes that are stored in the closets...
Moths hate certain smells like Atlas cedar, clove, lavender, thyme, mint or eucalyptus.
These scents are a true natural moth repellent. When they smell these smells, they move on and go lay eggs elsewhere!
Against moths, know that there is another simple and natural trick.
You can also make an apple of amber by sticking cloves on an orange.
Try it and you will see that it works just as well!
