Luckily, here's a natural, non-toxic spray that all pests hate.
This homemade spray is very simple to make . All you need are essential oils. Watch:
As I knew you would find it hard to believe me, I decided to show you its effectiveness in pictures.
So I chose a plant from my garden that was infested with ants.
As the ants are small, I added arrows to show them well:
That's a lot of ants on my plant, right?
Well, you'll see that it doesn't scare my homemade spray!
Now let's move on to the preparation of this natural repellent.
- 500ml of water
- 500 ml of witch hazel
- 10 to 20 drops of spearmint, peppermint, and wintergreen essential oils
- a glass vaporizer preferably
1. Fill the sprayer with half a liter of water.
2. Add the witch hazel.
3. Add 5 drops of each essential oil.
4. Shake the mixture well.
5. Spray directly on plants.
And There you go ! As you can see in the pictures, the ants all ran away :-)
It's still better than buying an insecticide full of chemicals, isn't it?
The advantage of this spray is that you can adapt it for each insect in the garden.
