Plastic boxes, I use them every day!
Both for storing leftovers and for taking my lunch to work.
The problem is that these food canisters get stained, greasy and smelly quickly.
And since these Tupperware are made to put food, impossible to clean them with chemicals or bleach.
Luckily, my Tupperware consultant gave me her pro tip for easily washing and deodorizing them.
The trick is to soak them in bicarbonated water overnight . Watch:
Contents
- 4 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 liter of hot water
- a basin
1. Fill your basin with hot water.
2. Add baking soda.
3. Stir to combine.
4. Dip the boxes into the mixture.
5. Leave to soak overnight.
6. The next day, rinse and dry.
And There you go ! Thanks to the baking soda, your Tupperware boxes are now detached and deodorized :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
No more yellow, sticky food boxes stained with tomato sauce!
In addition to being completely cleaned, your boxes are also disinfected by this cleaning.
If you don't have a basin, you can also let them soak directly in the sink.
To clean several boxes at the same time, nothing could be simpler!
Just increase the doses of baking soda and water, respecting the same proportions.
For example, put 2 liters of water and 8 tablespoons of baking soda, and so on.
If the boxes are really dirty or with deposits stuck to the bottom, increase the dose of baking soda and scrub with a brush.
This also works for can lids, but also for glass food cans.
Bicarbonate cleans plastics thoroughly and at the same time sanitizes surfaces.
It thus makes it possible to effortlessly remove deposits stuck in food boxes.
Plus, it naturally deodorizes the box. As a result, bad odors also disappear thanks to this deep cleaning.
Finally, no danger to food or your health since baking soda is completely natural.
