When cooking, the spoon has an annoying tendency to slip in the pan...
Result, we burn our fingers to recover it in boiling water...
...or the spoon is full of sauce!
Fortunately, there is a simple trick to prevent the spoon from slipping in the pan.
The trick is to wrap a rubber band around the tip of the spoon . Watch:
1. Take a rubber band.
2. Wrap it around the tip of the serving spoon.
3. Place the rubber band well on the tip of the spoon.
And There you go ! No more spoon falling into the pan :-)
It's still more practical that way, isn't it?
No need to buy one of those trinkets that clip onto cutlery.
The rubber band will play the role of "gripping" which will allow the cutlery to cling to the edge of the pan.
This trick also works for gratin dishes, tureens... and even with the brush in the paint pot.
