Take a cork of champagne. Fix it on the wall, at the bottom, where the door hits the wall. You can hang it with a long nail or fix it with strong glue.
Your door will now abut in the stopper and no longer on the wall. The paint on the wall is thus preserved.
This trick is perfect for a small door, a light door like a closet or wardrobe.
Take a cork from a bottle of wine or even better champagne.
Cut a slice of it 1 to 2 cm thick, or even less if the handle of your door is not too large. Stick it with glue glue on the door.
The washer will absorb the shock when you open the door. Your wall is now well protected.
