Fortunately, there is a simple trick to avoid these unpleasant odors.
Before leaving, sprinkle baking soda in all the pipes in the house:sink, basin, bathtub and toilet bowl.
1. Remove the plugs from the sink, washbasin and bathtub.
2. Sprinkle a little baking soda directly in the sink, washbasin, bathtub or shower, as well as in the toilet bowl.
3. When you return, just let the water run for a few seconds.
There you go, no more bad pipe smells when you return from vacation :-)
Practical, easy and effective! In addition, it is very economical.
