How to make a fabric fringe tassel heart balloon

Decorate your home or give this beautiful balloon to someone special this Valentine's Day. First, gather your materials, including the downloadable template.

Step 1

Cut the tissue paper

Start by cutting tissue paper to 10" x 28". Folded in half. Cut strips about 1/2" wide on both ends, as shown in the photo.

Roll of tissue paper

Unfold and roll up the tissue paper well..

Step 3

Fold the paper in half

Take the rolled up tissue paper and fold it in half.

Stage 4

Twist the end

Twist the end of the folded fabric to create the tassel, keeping a small loop at the end for threading.

Step 5

Thread tassels

Continue making tassels until you achieve the desired number. Attach and secure the thread tassels with a hot glue gun. Tie the tassel filled with yarn to the end of the balloon.

Step 6

Attach and add arc

Add a satin ribbon bow, if desired. Download and print the balloon tag template to attach to the balloon knot.
