Setting alarms using the Amazon Echo couldn't be easier. Just tell Alexa what time you want the alarm to go off and it will confirm. If you want your alarm to go off automatically at the same time every day, thanks to a recent update, all you need is a little extra command.
To set the alarm, use the following phrases, “Alexa, set an alarm for 7am.” To make it a recurring alarm, simply add one of the following “every day,” “every weekday,” or “every weekend.”
There is no way to set recurring alarms for alternate days, or for a string of random days. If you try to set an alarm for Monday and Tuesday, for example, only one of them will be set. If you want recurring alarms on a certain number of days of the week, you'll need to set each one individually.
You can edit or cancel the alarms through the mobile and web applications. If you prefer, you can also use voice commands. Just say use the phrase, “Alexa Cancellation Alarm.” If you have multiple alarms, you can tell Alexa which alarm you want to cancel. (In this case, “Alexa alarm cancels 7 am.”)
If you can't remember which alarms you've set, just tell Alexa to cancel the alarm, and she'll ask you which alarm you want to cancel and list the existing alarms.
Oddly enough with Amazon Echo, canceling an alarm doesn't remove itself from the app. If you want to completely remove the alarm, you have to do it manually. Asking Alexa to delete a canceled alarm doesn't work.
