I live in an old building and my sink clogs at least once per month !
I've already had 3 water damages and countless blocked pipes that overflowed...
Sink, sink, shower, bathtub, toilet... I've seen it all!
And always because of a blockage in the pipes!
Fortunately, I found an ultra-efficient method to unclog the pipes.
And no need to call a plumber which costs an arm and a leg!
The magic trick is to use a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar . It's very easy and quick. Watch:
- 100 g baking soda (i.e. 1/2 glass)
- 150 ml of white vinegar (i.e. 1/2 glass)
- 1 basin of boiling water
1. Pour the half glass of baking soda into the sink.
2. Add half a glass of white vinegar on top.
3. Quickly close the plug with a drain plug.
4. Let the mixture do its magic for about 30 min.
5. To finish, pour a basin of boiling water down the drain.
There you go, you've unblocked your sink with baking soda and white vinegar :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
Now you know the best way to unclog a drain!
Never again need to call a plumber and pay for an expensive intervention.
And the little extra is that vinegar and baking soda are inexpensive and 100% natural ingredients...
...unlike commercial drain cleaners like the Destop, full of chemicals that end up in our rivers.
In any case, don't forget to avoid throwing food down the sink!
Otherwise you are sure that your pipes will clog again...
Mixing baking soda and vinegar produces a chemical reaction that causes these two ingredients to foam.
But don't worry – there is no danger for you.
On the other hand, this mixture is your best ally for dissolving grease plugs that clog the pipes.
As for boiling water, it melts the cork.
As a result, it flows even more easily into the sewer.
