On your cotton laundry, whether colored or white, there is a very effective trick for cleaning a red wine stain:
1. Lay the stained garment flat.
2. Run a cloth soaked in water and ammonia over the stain.
3. Wash your laundry as usual.
There you go, your red wine stain is gone -:) .
And if you're out of ammonia, you can find some here.
If you stain white clothing, you can use boiling milk instead of ammonia.
