Why Thaw Food in the Refrigerator?

A handy trick to save electricity is to defrost food in the refrigerator.

It's easy as shit.

Instead of letting food thaw in the open air, I put frozen products to thaw in the refrigerator .

Just do it a few hours before cooking them and you're done.

It's also much better than using the microwave which doesn't defrost food naturally. In addition, it happens that there are small failures:the trick of the steak which started to cook because we had set the temperature incorrectly, we know!

At least in the refrigerator, food thaws naturally and retains its good taste.

Savings

Defrosting food in my refrigerator , it takes advantage of this source of cold to cool its interior temperature.

Thus, the refrigerator works with less electricity. Nice as a clever stingy thing!

In addition, once thawed, food will cook faster than if it were still frozen. It is therefore a double energy saving!
