The water in my area is super hard!
As a result, when I wash my glasses in the dishwasher, it shows...
Over time, my glasses become almost completely white and no longer translucent.
Are you also looking for something against the white haze on glasses?
Wondering how to clean glasses damaged by the dishwasher?
Luckily, I've discovered a trick that works for removing white haze from whitened glasses.
All you need is white vinegar and baking soda . Look, it's very simple and extremely effective:
Contents
- white vinegar
- bicarbonate
- sponge
- bowl
1. Soak the glasses for 30 minutes in a bowl of white vinegar. Make sure they are completely covered or give them a turn every once in a while.
2. Sprinkle baking soda on the sponge.
3. Rub the glasses with the sponge.
4. Put the glasses in the dishwasher to wash them as usual.
There you go, the white marks on your glasses have completely disappeared :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
You now know how to recover bleached glasses through the dishwasher and remove the white marks on the glasses.
Say goodbye to limescale deposits and hello to transparent glasses!
And all this without effort or dangerous and expensive products.
You don't even have to rinse the glasses before putting them in the dishwasher after the treatment.
It's a simple and economical trick to return bleached glasses.
Do this cleaning approximately every 3 weeks, to prevent this white deposit from becoming embedded in the lenses.
Otherwise, it will be more difficult to remove.
This trick works to clean whitened glass , but also carafes, bowls, salad bowls or glass vases.
White vinegar attacks limestone plaques deposited on the glass.
The bicarbonate then definitively takes off the limestone with its grainy side. It removes the last persistent white traces.
Note that this trick works on glasses tarnished by limescale only.
It does not work for glasses that have been bleached by the limestone + softener duo for the dishwasher which attacks the glass.
If this is the case with your glasses, unfortunately there is not much you can do to fix it.
