When cooking, grease often squirts onto the griddle cooking.
Once dry, it is often very difficult to clean...
Especially if it is old and well encrusted!
Luckily, there's an easy trick to make burnt-on grease on stovetops disappear.
And no need to use harmful products or buy expensive products!
The trick is to use a baking soda paste on the stain and leave to act. Watch:

1. In a bowl, mix baking soda with water to form a paste.
2. Apply this paste to the residue of cooked and burnt fat.
3. Leave on for several hours or even overnight.
4. Pass a lukewarm sponge or paper towel to remove the paste and grease with it.
And There you go ! The baking soda made the fat cooked on the baking sheets disappear :-)
It's all clean now! Your kitchen still looks better that way, doesn't it?
You now know how to remove fat from a baking sheet!
As it peels off, the baking soda paste will also peel off the cooked fat.
No need to rub with the scraper side of the sponge, as this could scratch the surface.
If the fat is not completely gone, just repeat the operation.
This trick works just as well for dissolving fresh grease as it does for old, stubborn stains on the stovetop.
To remove fresh grease, it is often enough to pass a simple damp cloth sprinkled with baking soda.
And it also works on electric hotplates, dripping pans, waffle irons, deep fryers or oven trays.
