Classic Christmas decorations aren't very original!
More and more people are opting for personal and unique garlands that are no less modern, artistic and downright pretty!
Winter is coming, what are we going to do to occupy the children? Garlands, of course!
You can leave room for your imagination or use the following 4 creative techniques:
Get a fabric you like.
Cut a strip of 3 cm that you fold on the width.
A small seam to make a tube and all you have to do is put on a petticoat and tie a knot, put on a petticoat and tie a knot, put on a petticoat...

You have small pearls lying around in the back of the closet? Here's a good (and long) activity for your darling daughter...
She will thread them on a rather strong thread and presto, the trick will be played! Avoid beads that are too big, it might be too heavy for the tree.
Summer camp leaders know this technique well, which is THE garland for party nights!
Take 2 rolls of crepe paper in different colors (red and white for me).
Without unrolling the paper, cut a strip of about 5 cm across.
Staple one end of each strip you just cut perpendicularly into your two rolls.
Pinch the stapled ends in your left hand. The red is above? Take the white strip and put it on top. The white is above now? Take the red band and bring it over.
And here we go, we weave.
With sweets and gift ribbon, here is a garland for the tree that we can enjoy after the Christmas holidays!
I staple, on the bolduc or the raffia, a candy approximately every 5 cm. You can keep this garland as it is. Otherwise, I like to staple the ribbon and its sweets on an old garland. Gourmet, practical and cute recycling!
Buying the most classic garlands quickly costs a minimum of €15. All that to have the same Christmas tree as on TV but less impressive! I'm skeptical!
Better to make them yourself. Tinkering frees our minds, awakens our creativity and what are we proud of when we're done! Look at what you can find at home to recycle into a garland.
There is no point in spending money. You are bound to find something to do!
