If you're like me, ironing is one of your most big ordeals.
No, but is there a household chore more daunting than ironing?
In addition it is long and not very simple.
Luckily... there are 7 magic tricks to make ironing easier!
Iron in order the buttons and buttonholes (on the wrong side), the cuffs, the flat sleeves and the collar on both sides of the front then finish with the back. Put on the hanger immediately.
Before ironing, place kraft paper between the 2 layers. Thus, the seams of the back of the tie will not show on the front.
Start with the waistband, on the wrong side, then the inside of the pockets (otherwise it will form unsightly balls), then the flat seams on the wrong side and finally the hem on the right side.
Start with the waistband and then the hem on the wrong side. Then, form the pleats always on the wrong side starting from the waistband and finally continue on the right side, all the way down.
Start at the waist on the wrong side, do the pocket bottoms here too, the top of the pants from the right side this time, put the pants on your board and go down each leg.
Make a neat fold by ironing it through kraft paper. Then, for the rest, continue as for the pants without darts.
Do not iron them! Just brush them hard sideways while still wet and let them dry on clip hangers.
So ? Isn't life beautiful without the chore of ironing?
Now you even have time to go for an hour walk in the sun;-)
