You have white socks that have turned more... gray or black ?
By dint of wearing and washing them, the white socks lose their luster.
Fortunately, there is an effective grandmother's trick to find white and immaculate socks.
All you have to do is make a stock of lemon socks to give them back all their whiteness...
Like the first day ! Watch:
1. Take out a saucepan.
2. Fill it with water.
3. Add the juice of two or three lemons.
4. Insert the leftover lemons inside the socks themselves.
5. Put the dirty socks in the pan.
6. Boil the water with the socks on.
7. Once the water boils, turn off the heat and soak for 1 hour.
8. Rinse and wring them out, then dry them in the sun if possible.
There you go, your socks have regained their whiteness :-)
They are like new! You will be able to wear them again without being ashamed to show them;-)
- For more efficiency, soak the socks the day before in a basin of cold salted water. Add a small handful of sea salt or baking soda.
- You can just as easily insert whole lemon slices in your socks. Then put them in the washing machine (60°). It also works very well.
