Is your hob full of grease?
It's normal, the hobs get dirty very quickly.
When you cook, it's the kind of chore you could do without...
Fortunately, there is a powerful recipe for easily cleaning a very dirty hob.
The trick is to use a mixture of black soap and soda crystals . Watch:
- 1 teaspoon of soda crystals
- 2 teaspoons of lukewarm water
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil black soap
- 1 microfiber cloth
1. Mix the soda crystals with lukewarm water.
2. Add two tablespoons of black soap.
3. Mix well.
4. Add the other two tablespoons of black soap.
5. Mix again.
6. Apply the mixture to the baking sheet with a sponge.
7. Leave on for 15 min.
8. Scrub with a sponge.
9. Wipe with a microfiber cloth.
There you go, your hob is perfectly clean and totally degreased :-)
This homemade recipe works for all types of hobs whether electric or gas.
However, be aware that it should not be used on an induction or ceramic hob , nor on aluminum surfaces.
You can use this grandmother's recipe to also clean the oven door or your barbecue.
Remember to wear a pair of gloves when handling soda crystals as they can irritate the skin.
