Fortunately, there is a very simple trick to sleep well even during the hot summer weather.

Indeed, apart from the air conditioner and the fans, there is another effective method to refresh your summer nights which is called the "Egyptian method .

How to

1. Soak a sheet in cold water.

2. Wring out the soaked sheet by hand until thoroughly dampened, but not dripping.

3. Put a dry sheet (or dry towel) on your mattress and lie down on the bed.

4. Use the damp sheet as a cooling blanket .

Result

There you go, thanks to its humidity, this wet blanket will refresh your body all night long :-)

You will be able to sleep well even during the hot weather!

Instead of the sheet, you can also use a towel. The important thing is that it's wide enough to cover as much of your body as possible.

You can also spin the soaked sheet with a spin cycle in your washing machine.

Here are some other great tips for beating the scorching summer heat:

- You can also try sleeping in an “arms and legs spread” position to better cool your body.

- Similarly, the body cools down faster if you sleep on your side.

- Spray your sheet with a little water and place the sheet in a large freezer bag and put it in the freezer. Take out your extra-fresh sheet just before going to bed. And don't forget to sleep barefoot, with your feet out of the sheet.

- Turn your pillows according to their temperature, so that you always rest your head on the cooler side of the pillow.

- In the hours before going to bed, do not drink drinks that contain caffeine.

- In a spray bottle, mix 90° alcohol and water, in equal parts. Spray this mixture on your body to refresh yourself.
